Hello, I am a junior in the department of Wood Science and Forest Products at Virginia Tech. I am from Roanoke, VA, about 30 miles away, from Blacksburg and am very excited about steam explosion. My other interest are hunting, fishing, outdoors, and sports. It is very convenient in that I have an internship this summer with Frank Miller Lumber Company, Inc. which is located approximately one hour west of Cincinnati, the home of my favorite baseball team. What a dream, relaxing after work while attending a ball game and sipping on some "barley pops", and studying wood chemistry of course.
